Joseph, 4, watches his mother Ceedi Yinke farm rice. Yinke, a mother of three, works as a kayayoo in Kumasi for nine months out of the year, returning to Shia to farm during the rainy season. "Stay in the house," Yinke said, "and you will not get money to buy dress for the child."
